What?

Goodnight War examines how and why we support war in our everyday lives, through the framework of a funeral. This evening-length dance performance integrates workshop investigations and the Eulogy for War series.  Live a cappella and folk music accompany seven dancers and an ensemble as they move through the Sanctuary at Broad Street Ministry, celebrating and mourning the passing of war.

The ensemble is made up of singers and members of the Philadelphia community.  dance or performance EXPERIENCE IS NOT NEEDED to participate.  The ensemble will be part of shaping the performance space, moving between the audience and the dancers.  The movement is all everyday movements like walking.  See below for more details!
